Chitwan Jungle Safari Tour Package of 3 Days is the best way to enjoy wildlife in Chitwan National Park. Chitwan National Park is the most famous tourist destination in Nepal. We offer various jungle safari activities in the Chitwan National Park. Chitwan National Park is the first National Park in Nepal which was established in 1973.The park was listed in World Heritage Site since 1984. The park is located in the inner Terai lowlands of south-central Nepal. It is about 5 hours drive from Kathmandu. We find more than 700 species of wildlife, 43 spices of mammals are found in Chitwan National Park.

The park is one of the best destination for bird watching where we can see more than 400 species birds in the Chitwan National Park. One of the most exciting activities if Elephant Safari which provides an opportunity to explore jungle and to watch a host of wildlife including animals like Bengal tigers, one horned rhinoceros, deer and various birds. Canoeing on Rapti river is the next highly recommended activity which offers a different view of jungle and close view of crocodiles, marsh muggers, different fishes and birds. You offer you to visit Elephant Breeding Center which is the attraction of Chitwan National Park. The center is important to protect the rare Asian Elephant species in Nepal. We offer you Jungle walk (Nature Walk) in the jungle with our naturalist guides. A walk affords you the opportunity to get a true feel for the jungle and our guide will often be able to lead you to interesting and beautiful areas. You will be also offered Bird Watching to see many species of birds and species of mammals. Jeep Drive is the next major activity and you will take you ’20,000 lakes’ which is an area made up of small lakes covering a huge area alongside the National Park. The lake is easily accessible by bicycle and takes around 1 – 2 hours to reach to the lake. The 20,000 lakes area is a beautiful place to observe and enjoy the quiet, natural environment, ideal to visit in the morning and observe birds, crocodiles, monkeys and other wildlife. You will offer village tour in surrounded traditional villages inhabited by the Tharu people. Tharu people are one of the indigenous groups in Nepal with a rich in culture and tradition. You can explore the ethnic villages with our guide. You will enjoy the Tharu culture program including the famous stick dance performed by the Tharu people.

Itinerary for Chitwan Tour Package

Day 1: Arrive in Chitwan:

The hotel representative will pick up you from the Chitrasari (the last bus station), or Bharatpur Airport (if you arrive by flight) and transfer to the lodge or hotel or resort where you will be offered refreshment and a short briefing on your program. Then after you will be allocated your room.

13.00 : Have a lunch.

15.00 : Your activity will start with village tour to a nearby ethnic Tharu village where you will able to know about the culture, tradition and daily lifestyle of the Tharus people. You will continue your trip visiting to the National Park Visitor’s centre where you can learn more about the history of the National Park and wildlife. You will take pleasure from the Sun set view from the bank of Rapti River as well.

19.00 : You will enjoy the Tharu cultural dance program (you will also allow to participate in the program) presented by the Tharu community or you will observe the slide show presentation about the wildlife in Chitwan.

20.00 : Have a dinner and overnight at hotel.

Day 2: Full day jungle safari enjoyment:

06.00 : Wake up call and refreshment.

06.30 : Have a breakfast.

07.00 : Leave from the hotel for Canoe ride along the Rapti River, the canoe ride provides an excited opportunity for Bird Watching and seeing the 2 rare species of crocodiles; the Marsh Mugger and the fish eating Gharial. Your trip offers you Jungle Walk. On the way back to hotel you will enjoy the elephant bathing in elephant bathing center.

13.00 : Have a delicious lunch at the hotel.

15.00 :Departure for Elephant Safari, this is the best opportunity to see four different kinds of deer, rhinoceros, wild bore, monkey, leopard, sloth bear and the Royal Bengal Tiger (If your luck is favorable). You will also encounter many other smaller mammals that have made Chitwan their home.

19.00 : Tharu cultural dance presentation or Slides show presentation.
20.00 : Have a dinner and overnight at hotel.

Day 3: Departure from Chitwan

06.00 : Wake up call and refreshment
06.30 : Have a breakfast and you will visit to the Government Elephant Breeding Centre.
10.00 : You will be drop the Chitrasari (last bus station) or Bharatpur airport (if you have a flight to Kathmandu)
