You start going up areas of the villages up to the terraced ridges covered with forests of rhododendron between incredible views, ranging of Annapurna South, Macchapuchare (Fish Tail) to Manaslu east, arriving at the village of Langdrung, very picturesque and well kept with typical houses in Stone; it goes directly to the north across the river to the village of Chomrung and go up the valley that becomes increasingly steep and inaccessible until you reach the foot of Macchapuchare, a mountain sacred to the Nepalese and therefore inviolate, which was renamed from Western ‘Matterhorn of the Himalayas’ for its bold form, and also ‘Fishtail mountain’ because of the double top that reminds some tail of a fish. From here, with a turn to the west that gives the vision of the south face of Annapurna, you enter the valley of the Sanctuary.

As per the itinerary you will drive about 6 hours drive or 30 minutes flight from Kathmandu to Pokhara and stay one night in Pokhara. Next day you will drive about 30 minutes to Nayapool then you start slowly walking to Tikhedhunga (1540m) then Ghandruk watching Mt. Annapurna, Machhepuchre and Dhaulagiri. We will make our way towards Ghorepani poonhill, an amazing place to see best views of villages and landscapes.

From Poon Hill, situated on the edge of the imposing Kali Gandaki valley you can enjoy spectacular views of Dhaulagiri and Annapurna South. The spectacular mountain views on this trek is something that no other trek can offer.

You will hike through the village of local ethnic group of Thakali and Gurung as well. Your trail will ascend continuously to Machhapuchhre Base Camp (MBC) then Annapurna Base Camp (ABC) which is the final destination. From ABC your trail back descending and reach Phedi enjoy the mountain view and hot spring places. From Phedi you will drive to Pokhara and next day you will fly drive back to Kathmandu.

TREKKING ROUTE ITINERARY

Day 01 : Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara by tourist bus vehicle – 6 Hours:
Morning, you will have breakfast then drive to Pokhara (the city known as the center of adventure). The drive to Pokhara is one of the charming country trips in Nepal. Your journey goes through farming statement in mid hill and following the “Trishuli River” for a while. You will enjoy watching green scenery, vegetable field and Mountain View during your drive to Pokhara. Afternoon you will arrive in Pokhara and check in hotel. After refreshment, you may explore around city. Evening return back to hotel and overnight at hotel.

Day 02 : Drive to Nayapul (1070m) an hour / Trek from Nayapul to Ulleri (1960m) – 6 hours:
Morning you will have a breakfast then drive to Nayapul (1070m). After getting Nayapul we will begin our trek following the south bank of the river for a while and continue our trail passing sub tropical valley of forest. We cross a suspension bridge of Modhi Khola (river) then we get the village of Trikhedhunga (1540m), then after our trail keeps on and reach the Ulleri around late afternoon. Overnight at hotel or lodge or teahouse.

Day 03 : Trek Ulleri to Ghorepani (2860m) – 4-5 hours:
Morning have a breakfast. Today we start our trail gradually toward Ghorepani colorful village. The village is very famous for in this region. The means of Ghorepani in Nepal is horse water. You may see small shops and stalls waiting to sell the consumers goods such as local products & crafts. From Ulleri our trail starts to ascend slowly and we find the chilly weather in the evening. Finally, we reach Ghorepani which is situated at the higher altitude then our last places. Overnight at hotel or lodge or teahouse.

Day 04 : Morning hike to Poon Hill (3210m) &Trek Ghorepani to Tadapani (2630m) – 5/6 hours:
Getup early in the morning then we hike to the Poon Hill (3210m) from were we will be enabled the panoramic mountain view of Machhapuchhre, Dhaulagiri, Nilgiri and Annapurna. The amazing sunrise view from the Poon Hill is an unforgettable moments of the trekking trail. After visiting to Poon Hill we return back to Ghorepani and have a breakfast. We begin our exciting and pass entering rhododendron forest then reach Tadapani. Overnight at hotel or lodge or teahouse.

Day 05 : Trek Tadapani to Chhomrong (2170m) – 6 hours:
From Tadapani our trail descends through thick forest and gets the village of Chuile then after we keep on comfortable walk and reach Chhomrong. Overnight at hotel or lodge or teahouse.

Day 06 : Trek Chhomrong to Dovan (2600m) – 6 hours:
Today, our trail goes down to Chhomrong Khola (stream) then starts to climb and we get Sinuwa Danda (2360m).Then after we pass rhododendron forest until we get Kuldhigar (2540m). After that we continue our trail and ultimately we reach Dovan. Overnight at hotel or lodge or teahouse.

Day 07 : Trek Dovan to Deurali (3230m) – 5 hours:
We start our trek gradually through oak & rhododendron and bamboo thick forest. We cross two bridges of small streams. Today, you might get opportunity to see some wild animal such as wild pig, deer, snow leopard during the trek. We reach Deurali by late afternoon. Overnight at hotel or lodge or teahouse.

Day 08 : Trek Deurali to Machhapuchhre Base Camp (MBC) (3700m) To Annapurna Base Camp (ABC) (4130m) – 6 hours:
We begin our exciting trail towards Machhapuchhre Base Camp. Firstly we walk ascend gradually and steeply over the mountain side. The trek to MBC to Annapurna Base Camp is a bit strenuous but the spectacular vista of Machhapuchhre rewards our trail very enjoyable. We reach MBC by early afternoon then after our trail continues climb until we reach Annapurna Base Camp. Our trek enables to see the snow boulders melting and forming small streams. We will have sensation views of the near vertical south face of Annapurna towering above the sanctuary. Annapurna Base Camp sanctuary boasts of a dynamic view without anything impeding panorama of the 360 degrees. We will have interesting view of Machhapuchre, Annapurna south, Annapurna I, Hiuchuli and other peaks. Enjoy a warm night’s sleep in comfortable at hotel or lodge or teahouse.

Day 09 : Trek Annapurna Base Camp to Bamboo (2310m) – 6 hours:
Weak up early in the morning and get pleasure form the amazing view of sunrise over the mountain. Today we began to walk from ABC. Our trail descends from today so; the trail will be earlier and easier then climbing up. We trek back from ABC to MBC then Deurali to Dovan and finally we get Bamboo. Today, you will allow to see beautiful water fall and superb mountain view of Fishtail and Himchuli during the trek to Bamboo. We rest at the hotel and overnight at hotel.

Day 10 : Trek Bamboo to Jhinu Danda (1780m) – 6 hours:
We continue our trek from Bamboo to Sinuwa then move down and get to Lower Chhomrong. From Lower Chomrong our trail takes ascending on the thousand stony steps and we reach upper Chomrong ten we trek down to Jhinu Danda. We can enjoy hot spring while staying in Jhinu Danda. Overnight in Jhandu Danda at hotel.

Day 11 : Trek Jhinu Danada to Pothana (1890m) – 6 hours:
We trek down and reach Himal Pani where we find beautiful waterfall. Our trail goes smoothly crossing numerous streams and terrace then we get Landruk village (1565m). From Landruk village our trail begins by a bit descending to Tolka (1700m) after that our trail rises gradually until we reach the village of Pitam Deurali (2100m). After reaching Pitam Deurali our trek descents to Pothana watching the beautiful mountain view and crossing the different oak forests. Pothana is a small and attractive village settled by “Gurung” who are an ethnic community of Nepal. Overnight in Pothana at hotel/guest house or tea house.

Day 12 : Trek to Dhampus (1650m) to Phedi (1130). 4hour / Drive back to Pokhara – 45 minutes:
From Pothana we our trek goes gradually descending to Dhampus then after Phedi watching the magnificent Himalaya view. From Phedi we drive back to Pokhara. Reft time free to explore around the city. Overnight at hotel.

Day 13 : Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu – Drive 6 hours:
Morning have a breakfast then drive to Kathmandu by tourist bus.
